Changes in Kayser-Fleischer Ring During Treatment of Hepatolenticular Degeneration

Arnold M. Mitchell, MD; Grant L. Heller, MD

Arch Ophthalmol. 1968;80(5):622-625.

Abstract

Kayser-Fleischer rings were observed in two patients over a three-year period during treatment of hepatolenticular degeneration (Wilson's disease). The clinical improvement of these patients did not correlate with changes in the corneal deposits. The neuropathologic implications of these observations are discussed.
